Kristen Goodwin is the Managing Director at The Law Practice Exchange, where she serves as the operational and execution partner to the leadership team. With over a decade of experience across legal services, legal technology, and SaaS, Kristen brings a broad operational perspective spanning finance, revenue operations, client relations, compliance, and enterprise strategy. Prior to joining LPE, she led business operations at Merlin Search Technologies, a legal AI software company,  and held diverse roles in business development, sales and operations at Purpose Legal, a legal services and technology provider.

An experienced operator and strategic problem solver, Kristen excels at seeing how the pieces of a business connect, identifying what is creating friction, and building practical systems that help organizations run better as they grow. She is particularly passionate about simplifying complexity, improving visibility through better data and reporting, and turning ambitious goals into clear priorities, repeatable processes, and measurable results.

At LPE, Kristen focuses on cultivating organizational alignment and fortifying the company’s infrastructure to ensure the team remains centered on critical goals. Her efforts are dedicated to LPE’s core mission: empowering law firm owners to optimize the value of their legacy and move forward with confidence.

Raised in the Raleigh area, Kristen now resides in Lillington, North Carolina, with her husband and their two dogs, Crash and Jackson. A proud North Carolina State University graduate, she loves cheering on the Wolfpack, especially during football season. Outside of work, she enjoys baking all things sourdough, traveling, game nights, and making the most of (and preparing for) her favorite time of year, Christmas.
